We’re back with our second & final betting tip of the week - the NFC Championship game! On the NFC side of the bracket, both teams on the road managed to get the win and progress to the last two in the conference! Now, we’ll see an NFC West clash as the San Francisco 49ers travel across the west to face the Los Angeles Rams.
Following a 23-17 victory on the road to the Cowboys in their Wild Card matchup, the 49ers were then given the tough test of traveling to Lambeau Field. San Francisco were up to the occasion - something that the Green Bay Packers weren’t - and were able to see off Aaron Rodgers & the rest of the offense. While it was a low-scoring affair, the 49ers secured a win with a walk-off field goal. Two wins on the road in the postseason for the 49ers - can they make it a third on Sunday?
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card round, setting up a tie with the defending Super Bowl champs, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On the road, many had written off the Rams before the clash had started. However, on Sunday, the Rams capitalized on a poor start from the Bucs, and were up 20-3 going into the half. While a comeback from the home team made the end of the game extremely interesting, the Rams were able to get within field goal range and win with a walk-off three points. Now, they will have home advantage for the NFC Championship game.
The NFC Championship is set up to be a highly-anticipated NFC West clash, with many fans eagerly-awaiting Sunday. For this one, we’re tipping the Los Angeles Rams to take the win in a matchup for the ages! With MVP candidate Cooper Kupp still on the top of his game, we predict that it will be an impressive home performance for LA, who will also be at home for Super Bowl LVI.
