In a nail-biting, exciting matchup, the Cowboys came up short, losing 31-29. With that said, it’s an extremely respectable scoreline against the reigning and defending champions. Then, in their latest game, a win against the Los Angeles Chargers surprised a number of people, and now Dallas have raised some eyebrows. A fully fit Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott has had a significantly positive impact on the offense, while the defense - secondary in particular - has stood strong in their opening two games.

As division rivals, the two NFC East teams are extremely familiar with one another, so they have an idea of what to expect. In their last five matchups, it’s the Dallas Cowboys that have the bragging rights, winning three of the last five. One of the wins also includes their latest meeting, which was in week 16 of the 2020 season.
