The New York Giants head south this weekend to take on the in-form Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have won their last three games but they are still not certain of a place in the play-offs as things stand. The Giants have a real problem scoring enough points to win games, and they will need to improve their offense if they are to have any chance at all of victory on Sunday. Read on to see where the best betting value can be found in this game!

Giants cannot score enough points

Baltimore have played really well over their last three games and it would be rash to bet against them winning their last two to secure an 11-5 record. That might not be enough for them to reach the play-offs, though, unless they get a favour from other teams, one of whom is the Pittsburgh Steelers. If Baltimore wins this weekend and the Steelers win at least one of their last two games then the Ravens are in the post-season. The Ravens have shown some good resilience this season, having had to deal with a Covid-19 outbreak at their training facility. They are picking up form at just the right time of the season and quarterback Lamarr Jackson is looking really sharp right now. In last weeks’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jackson three for three touchdowns and ran for another.

The Giants have a serious weakness on offense in that they just cannot seem to score enough points to win close games. In their last four games they have scored 19, 17, seven and six points. Their offense may get a boost this weekend if offensive coordinator Jason Garrett returns to the sideline following a recent positive Covid-19 test. Quarterback Daniel Jones might return to action too, but he remains doubtful as he is battling hamstring and ankle injuries.

Our Pick: Ravens plus total points under 45

Our pick for this game is that the Ravens will win and there will be less than 45 points scored in the match. 888Sport are offering odds of +132 on that happening and that looks tempting to us. The Ravens need to win to give themselves the best possible chance of reaching the play-offs, while the Giants never seem to be able to get things together on offense at the moment, which means that the total points in the game is also likely to be low.

Our pick: Ravens plus total points under 45 @ +132 with 888Sport
