Ready for more NFL betting tips @ CaptainGambling.com? Well, if so, then youāre in the right place! Here, weāve selected three games taking place on week 2 of the new NFL season! It was an exciting opening weekend, and we certainly expect that to continue this week, and hopefully for the rest of the season too!
This Sunday, we will see an NFC matchup as the Arizona Cardinals host the Minnesota Vikings, in what should be an extremely entertaining affair. Weāre going to be diving into the two franchises, including how they did in week 1 of the new NFL season. Weāll also share with you the previous encounters between the two teams, before sharing with you our latest betting tip for the upcoming game!
In the first game of the season that went to overtime, the Minnesota Vikings suffered a 27-24 loss to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Whilst it was a close game, the Vikings will certainly be needing to improve quickly as they face a bigger test in the form of the Cardinals. Star running back Dalvin Cook only managed 61 yards on the ground, with an average of only 3.0 yards a carry. The passing game was strong for the Vikings, against a good Bengals secondary, but the defense struggled against the opposition QB and their offensive weapons. Heading into week 2 of the season, Minnesota will need to stop Kyler Murray and Co. as much as possible.
Do we have a dark horse on our hands? Despite being in the toughest division in the league, the Cardinals surprised many in week 1, dominating the Tennessee Titans in style. With an improved roster, including the additions of big signings such as JJ Watt and AJ Green, Arizona certainly look like an improved franchise. Coming away with a 38-13 victory, the Cardinals were definitely one of the better teams in the opening weekend. Now, they have to stop another of the best running backs in the league, after limiting the Titansā Derrick Henry to just 58 rushing yards.
In terms of the previous head to head encounters between the two franchises, thereās not much significance to be taken away, as the two donāt play each other often. The last five encounters date back to October 2011. On top of that, the two havenāt matched up against one another since 2018, where the two had almost entirely different rosters. However, the Vikings could try to gain some confidence heading into the week 2 game, having won four of their last five matchups against the Cardinals. They will definitely want to continue this trend, but will have to go toe to toe with them on the field on Saturday afternoon.
As well as the current situation of both teams, we also have this section dedicated to taking a closer look at the head to head details. So, youāll find the last five games that involved the Minnesota Vikings & Arizona Cardinals, along with some statistical highlights for you to take advantage of.
After taking into consideration all of the above, weāre sharing our betting tip of the Arizona Cardinals to get the W on Sunday afternoon, and that they will score over 27.5 points on the day!
Thatās right - weāre predicting that the Arizona Cardinals will extend their record to 2-0 with a victory against the Minnesota Vikings. With an explosive offense, now combined with a star-studded defense, the Cardinals have a talented roster that could challenge the very best in the league. If the home team can manage to minimize the impact of Dalvin Cook in particular, then Arizona are likely to get a second victory on the board for the season.
Using Unibetās same game combo option, you can select the Arizona Cardinals to win, and for them to score over 27.5 points, and get odds of +125! Take advantage of the odds today!
