After going 0-16 on the season in 2017, the Cleveland Browns have been in the process of a rebuild, including some top names in the league. Where can we start with the Chiefs? Arguably the best franchise in the league, the Chiefs do host a tough test in their opening game in the form of a Browns team on the rise. With that said, the Chiefs are still considered heavy favorites, and it’s difficult to see anything other than a Kansas City victory. Patrick Mahomes will no doubt be his usual, extraordinary self, and with the rest of the talented offense, they are looking just as strong as last season. With the additions at offensive line, there’s not much that can be done to stop the Chiefs offense - will Cleveland find a way to do so?

As we’ve already mentioned, these two teams have technically already played this year, in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Chiefs came away with a close victory, and it could be the same again this time around. The trend continues when we look at the previous games, with the Chiefs winning the last four of the five games. Meanwhile, the Browns haven’t beaten Kansas City since 2012, almost a decade ago. Will that happen any time soon? Only time will tell, but with how strong the Chiefs are, it’s doubtful.
