As part of the late window on Sunday, we have a very highly-anticipated matchup, with the Buffalo Bills traveling south to face the Super Bowl defending champions! Both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills are set to feature in the postseason - who will take the win on Sunday?
The Buffalo Bills had an extremely tough time on Monday Night Football against their division rivals, the New England Patriots. Despite their opponents only attempting three passes all game - due to the very windy conditions - Buffalo were unable to score much on offense themselves. This result was coming off the back of their Thanksgiving Thursday win last week, and now the Bills have missed their opportunity to go top of the AFC East. Now, they face another tough test on Sunday in the late window - the Buccaneers.
After defeating their NFC South rivals the Atlanta Falcons - a 30-17 victory - the Tampa Bay Buccaneers moved to 9-3 on the year. Currently, the Bucs are the third seed in the NFC, but are only one win behind the Arizona Cardinals in the No.1 spot. With such a strong campaign this year, Tampa Bay have the chance to clinch a playoff berth with a win against their upcoming opponents. A win would take them to 10-3 on the year, and no other NFC South franchise could catch up, meaning they will guarantee a spot in the playoffs.
This week, we’re going to see an extremely entertaining clash on the field in Tampa. With that said, we’re tipping the Buccaneers to clinch that playoff berth with a close win on Sunday. We think Brady & Co. will be able to rack up the points against a tough Bills’ defense, but ultimately will have more success than Buffalo.
