Every rookie hit's a wall at some point, and tonight against the Houston Rockets, Kristaps Porzingis met Superman. Porzingis has been enjoying his first few months in the NBA. Tonight, things were a bit different as Porzingis received his first welcome to the NBA moment from the hands of Dwight Howard. Yes, that Dwight Howard a.k.a. the artist formerly known as Superman. Howard has been more like Blankman rather than Superman this season. Howard went into the phone booth and went from Clark Kent to Superman for just one play.
I'm sure that Porzingis would have liked to have met Howard under different circumstances, but in this case their first meeting was at the rim. Better luck next time, Rook.
