Houston Astros

After finishing the regular season top of the American League West, the Houston Astros were impressive in the post-season to make it to the World Series. Following a 3-1 divisional series win against the AL Central leaders, the Chicago White Sox, the Astros then overcame the Boston Red Sox 4-2 in the AL Championship Series. In the NLCS, the Braves beat the high-flying LA Dodgers, and managed to claim their spot in the World Series.
