The only problem is that now it’s expected that the Tigers will get back to the SEC Championship game.

Jayden Daniels, LSU's star quarterback and leading rusher from last season, returns to lead an offense stacked with experienced line players, an explosive backfield, and agile receivers - including linebacker Harold Perkins' impressive 7.5 sacks and 13 tackles for losses last fall! Harold Perkins leads an LSU front seven that includes several defensive powerhouses like linebacker Avonte Wright (7.5 sacks/13 tackles for loss), who returns this fall.

Notably absent will be Maason Smith, LSU's star defensive tackle who received a one-game suspension by the NCAA for receiving improper benefits from pre-NIL autograph signing in 2021 - an announcement widely condemned by analysts.

Florida State Preview

Mike Norvell led Florida State to 10 victories last year and is now the preseason favorite to take home the Atlantic Coast Conference championship.

 

The Seminoles return 17 starters, while the Tigers have 15. Both squads possess College Football Playoff aspirations.

Florida State was the only team in the nation to lead their conference in both total offense and total defense in 2022. Both starting quarterbacks have returned, yet one key piece remains absent: offensive lineman Jack Ryan.

The Seminoles boast two returning offensive stars in quarterback Jordan Travis and edge rusher Jared Verse, as well as newcomers such as transfer cornerback Fentrell Cypress, receiver Keon Coleman, and tight end Jaheim Bell to complement what experts consider to be an impressive backfield unit.

This game is seriously a toss up and the best bet to me is in the 56.5 over/under. Both teams are explosive on offense and my recommended bet is to bet the over at 56.5!
