When I discovered that 2025 Dabble ratings were higher than for some of the DFS stalwarts like FanDuel and DraftKings I felt the need to check it out for myself to see if it lived up to the hype.
Overall, I was pleased with the straightforward process that this bright and user-friendly app facilitates. It all starts with a $10 no-deposit sign-up offer when you first register using the promo code that you’ll see in the banners of this page. I’d love you to join me as I take you through the details of my own Dabble experience.
When you first sign up and verify your Dabble DFS account, you can claim a $10 no deposit welcome offer. Just make sure to enter the valid promo code that you can see on the banners of this page.
Before you can withdraw any winnings made from your $10 no deposit bonus, you will need to deposit at least $10 into your Dabble account and use it to enter $10 of DFS contests first. You can check out my Dabble bonus review for more detailed information about how this works.
The only way that you can enter DFS contests at Dabble is through the mobile app, which I’ll cover separately below. For now, I’ll give you an overview of the website, which is excellent, even if you cannot sign up and play from there.
The website leaves a colorful first impression, with its purple background and yellow branding. The homepage is clean, simple, and informative - you just need to scroll down to find out everything about Dabble.
On the website, you can also find the full list of available states and access the well-designed help center. Additionally, you can download the app directly from the homepage instead of going through a third-party app store.
As mentioned, you can download the Dabble app directly from the website, but it’s also available from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). I tested out both apps for this review and found the Apple version to be slightly better.
On the whole, however, they are both great products. The app is clean and extremely intuitive, with the registration and verification process taking just minutes to complete.
When it comes to making your picks and entering a DFS contest, there are a few features that can speed things up even more. For example, I particularly liked that you can follow other users and copy their picks like-for-like, including their chosen entry fee.
On top of that, you can also interact with other players via the chat feature and create a description of your picks to share with them. I found the networking aspect of the Dabble app to be as good as any social media platform, and the well-designed DFS application is truly the icing on the cake.
You can fund your account with as little as $5 using one of these three payment options:
Before you make your deposit, make sure that your payment account address and details exactly match those of your Dabble login. Once you're happy with that, here’s what to do:
If you want your withdrawal process to start on the same day, you must submit the request before 16:30 (EST). Once actioned, it can take between one and three business days for you to receive your funds.
Withdrawals can only be made via bank transfer, so you’ll need to add the details first, which is done as follows:

Before you contact the customer service team, I recommend making use of the help center, which contains guides and articles which cover most common queries and issues. Otherwise, you can find a responsive and reliable service via the live chat or support email address.
As I mentioned earlier in my Dabble review, there is a great chat room for sharing your picks and bantering with your fellow players. On top of that, I found Dabble to be very active and engaging on social media, particularly via Twitter (X), Facebook, and Instagram.
The real money DFS contests are available in 20 states as of March 2025, including California, Illinois, Texas, and District of Columbia. However, if you are located outside of these states, you can still make use of the social features of the platform. Regardless, you will need to be aged 18 years or over to create a Dabble login.
When it comes to matters of security, Dabble has a strict but stringent verification process and a solid privacy policy. Additionally, the site is SSL-protected and the app uses state-of-the-art encryption technology.

US / VAFrom time to time, you may be rewarded at Dabble with a Spin & Win bonus. This gives you the opportunity to spin the bonus wheel for a chance to boost your balance when you make your next deposit.
There are no specific criteria for getting a Spin & Win, which makes it unlike most rewards and loyalty programs I’ve come across. Still, I quite like the more egalitarian approach taken by Dabble here.
When you are given a Spin & Win, it will be automatically added to your account and you will be informed via email and SMS. The best way to grab this bonus is to keep an eye out in the player chat for a “Spin & Win” time announcement.
Dabble offers app-only pick-based DFS contests for the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB. To play, you need to select between two and 12 players and choose more or less for a stat line, e.g. Jokic more than 24.5 points.
If all of your predictions are correct, you receive a prize payout. If not, you lose - it’s that simple. Unlike many other DFS pick ‘em contests that I’ve entered, there are no insurance options for a lower payout (e.g. get 1.5x your stake back if one pick loses).
All payouts at Dabble are based on a multiplier of a chosen stake, the size of which is determined by the number of picks you make and the likelihood of them winning. The lowest multiplier is 3x and the highest is 1,000x.
To get the maximum 1,000x multiplier, you would need to pick 12 players and have them all be correct. Even with the minimum entry fee of $5, this could potentially result in a $5,000 payout.
This is one area where I found that Dabble really stands out from other DFS platforms. With your Dabble login, you can follow other players and copy their picks, including their entry fee, at the click of a button.
Additionally, you can record your own picks and share your player and stat knowledge with others if you want. At a more relaxed level, there is a community chat where you can simply enjoy some banter with other fantasy sports fans.
Even if you are located outside of the 20 states where Dabble real-money contests are legal, you can still create an account and use the social features. Many users actually do this, because Dabble is just as much a social media platform for US sports fans, as it is a DFS app.
If you’re like me and you don’t like convoluted apps with too much choice, then Dabble is probably the right choice for you. The straightforward contest format is facilitated by the slick app, and the social aspect adds some additional community-based fun. Whether you’re a stat boffin, you know your players or you’re just a casual sports fan, this app has something to offer in my opinion.
You might be surprised to hear this, but fantasy sports fans have rated Dabble more highly than FanDuel and DraftKings at times. And judging from my own experience, I can definitely see why, as the app offers entertaining real-money DFS contests with plenty of sociable features.
Yes, Dabble is a legit DFS app with real money contests that are legal in 20 states as of March 2025. If you are located outside of those 20 legal states, you can still use the social features on the app if you are aged 18+. Overall, I can confirm that there is no Dabble scam going on here.
Dabble is a very straightforward app. You just need to download, create your account, and deposit $5 or more to get started. Then you can pick between two and 12 player stats and select “More” or “Less” for the projected stat line for each one. If your picks win, you will get a multiplier of between 3x and 1,000x your entry fee.
Yes, having tested the app for myself, I can confirm that Dabble Fantasy Sports is definitely safe and secure. To find out more, take a look at my in-depth review here at CaptainGambling.com.
It costs real money if you want to enter DFS contests for the chance to win a cash payout. However, you can use the social features on the app for free.
At the end of the day, I found Dabble to be a fun and user-friendly DFS app with simple picks and DFS contests. Although it doesn’t have the same variety of DFS contests offered by the likes of FanDuel and DraftKings, this quicker and more streamlined process will suit many of you.
Finally, while all good DFS apps are sociable to some extent, I have never found one that emphasizes the social aspect quite as much as Dabble. I definitely recommend Dabble if you are looking for an easy-to-use app that’s very community-focused.
