
Kindred’s Unibet is the latest operator in the regulated US online casino market to ink an iGaming agreement with leading software provider and games developer, Playtech.
The new partnership paves the way for Unibet to add Playtech’s state-of-the-art RNG casino games to its internet casino platforms across the country. The first state to benefit from the agreement will be New Jersey, where Kindred Group has been offering iGaming services to online casino enthusiasts under the Unibet brand since July 2019.
The two companies have also confirmed plans to launch in more US states where Unibet has an online presence in the coming months, although they did not reveal which jurisdictions would be next. The operator is licensed to run igaming platforms in three other states including, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Virginia.
The latest agreement with Unibet is a huge stride in Playtech’s US expansion plan.
Celebrating the feat, the Playtech’s Chief Operating Officer Shimon Akad said that the company was delighted to announce the partnership, and that it was proud to team up with Unibet to deliver its hi-tech casino software to online casino players across the country.

The deal marks the third iGaming partnership for Playtech in the Garden State, following successful launches with BetMGM and Bet365.
The London-based supplier also has a multi-state agreement with Parx Interactive in place, which has seen it deploy its IMS platform and Player Account Management (PAM) solution to power the operators iGaming apps in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Indiana. Parx Interactive is the online division of the Bensalem-based Parx Casino, Pennsylvania’s largest land-based casino.
Manuel Stan, Senior Vice President of Kindred Group in the US also issued a statement to celebrate the company’s latest agreement with Playtech.
Commenting on the deal, the SVP expressed the company’s excitement at securing the partnership, saying that Unibet was delighted to add the supplier’s content to its online casino offering in the Garden State.
He went on to say that the partnership would make it possible for the brand to deliver a selection of best quality games to its online customers, and that his company was looking forward to extending the collaboration to more US states.

Kindred Group first entered the regulated US gambling market in July 2019, following an agreement with Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. The group has since launched its flagship Unibet brand in several US states including Pennsylvania, Indiana, Iowa, Virginia, Arizona.
The company has also revealed that it is working on launching its mobile betting and igaming platforms in the states of Michigan, Tennessee, Illinois, and Colorado in the near future, subject to regulatory approval.
