Here are our favorite DFS picks for today as well as the picks ATS.
Chicago White Sox @ Chicago Cubs 2:20 PM ET
Lynn (10-3) vs Hendricks (13-4)
Good pitching matchup in the battle of Chicago, but with the Cubs young and inexperienced lineup, Lynn should be able to hold them down.
Pick: White Sox Win
Daily Fantasy picks:
Tim Anderson (SS)
Yoan Moncada (3B)
Andrew Vaughn (1B/OF)
Patrick Wisdom (3B)
Tampa Bay Rays @ Baltimore Orioles 7:05 PM ET
Yarbrough (6-4) vs Means (5-3)
The Orioles are playing well right now by their standards and backed by one of the league's best pitchers with John Means. The first place Rays however are a tough matchup but Means should still have a strong start. I like the O’s at home.
Pick: Orioles Win
Daily Fantasy picks:
Yandy Diaz (3B)
Randy Arozarena (OF)
Cedric Mullins (OF)
Ryan Mountcastle (1B/OF)
New York Mets @ Philadelphia Phillies
Stroman (7-10) vs Gibson (7-3)
Great pitching matchup here that should see a low scoring game even in a hitters ballpark. With how well Gibson is pitching and the Phillies are hitting, behind Bryce Harper's MVP-like surge right now, I’m taking the Phillies at home.
Pick: Phillies Win
Daily Fantasy picks:
Jeff McNeil (3B)
Dominic Smith (1B)
Bryce Harper (OF)
Jean Segura (SS)
Seattle Mariners @New York Yankees 7:05 PM ET
Gonzales (3-5) vs Peralta (3-2)
Soft throwing lefty Marco Gonzales might struggle in New York against this powerful lineup that’s starting to hit its stride. Wandy Peralta for the Yankees is tough to back too though, so I like the over.
Pick: Over
Daily Fantasy picks:
Mitch Haniger (OF)
Ty France (2B)
Aaron Judge (OF)
DJ LeMaheiu (1B/2B)
Boston Red Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays
Eovaldi (9-6) vs Manoah (3-1)
The Red Sox are struggling while the Blue Jays are surging. One has lost 8 of 10 and the other has won 8 of 10. This should continue, but the Red Sox need a bounce back game behind their best pitcher. The trend is too much. Take the Blue Jays at home.
Pick: Blue Jays Win
Daily Fantasy picks:
Rafael Devers (3B)
Alex Verdugo (OF)
Teoscar Hernandez (OF)
George Springer (OF)
Detroit Tigers @ Cleveland Indians 7:10 PM ET
Manning (2-4) vs Quantrill (2-2)
Cal Quantrill has been surprisingly one of baseballs best pitchers over the last month. His sub 2.0 ERA along with being at home is a recipe for success against the struggling Tigers.
Pick: Indians Win
Daily Fantasy picks:
Eric Haase (C/OF)
Jonathan Schoop (2B)
Ahmed Rosario (SS)
Frammil Reyes (OF)
Pittsburgh Pirates @ Cincinnati Reds 7:10 PM ET
Brubaker (4-10) vs Miley (8-4)
Wade Miley should keep the league’s worst offense at bay. Brubaker has pitched much better his last two outings, but it will be tough to make it a third in Cincinnati.
Pick: Reds -1.5
Daily Fantasy picks:
Kevin Newman (2B/SS)
Bryan Reynolds (OF)
Jonathan India (2B/3B)
Joey Votto (1B)
Washington Nationals @ Atlanta Braves 4:05 PM ET
Fedde (4-7) vs Muller (2-3)
I like the Braves a lot here in their return home after a successful road trip. They keep crushing the ball behind Austin Riley and Ozzie Albies and should have no problem against this young Nationals Team in rebuild mode.
Pick: Braves -1.5
Daily Fantasy picks:
Juan Soto (OF)
Austin Riley (3B)
Jorge Soler (OF)
Dansby Swanson (SS)
Minnesota Twins @ Houston Astros 8:10 PM ET
Ober (1-1) vs Greinke (10-3)
Last night’s Astro’s loss was a product of a long road trip and a late-night return home followed by an early game. Now rested, the Astro’s should roll the Twins behind Greinke.
Pick: Astro’s -1.5
Daily Fantasy picks:
Josh Donaldson (3B)
Jorge Polanco (SS)
Jose Altuve (2B)
Kyle Tucker (OF)
San Francisco Giants @ Milwaukee Brewers 8:10 PM ET
A battle of two first-place teams takes place in Milwaukee with a great pitching matchup. It’s really tough to pick against the Giants right now, especially after their incredible comeback win yesterday. With this type of pitching duel, I’ll take the under.
Pick: Under
Daily Fantasy picks:
Brandon Crawford (SS)
Buster Posey (C/1B)
Willy Adames (SS)
Kolten Wong (2B)
Kansas City Royals @ St Louis Cardinals 8:15 PM ET
Mike Minor (8-9) vs Wainwright (9-6)
Mike Minor is coming off back-to-back wins and has a solid matchup against the Cardinals who struggle against lefties. I still like the Cardinals at home though.
Pick: Cardinals Win
Daily Fantasy picks:
Whit Merrifield 2B)
Harrison Bader (OF)
Dylan Carlson (OF)
Miami Marlins @ Colorado Rockies 8:40 PM ET
Alcantara (6-8) vs Marquez (9-8)
This is actually a very under-the-radar good pitching matchup. The Rockies are very good at home, but Sandy Alcantara is tough to score on. I think we get a surprisingly low scoring game.
Pick: Under
Daily Fantasy picks:
Jesus Aguilar (1B)
Lewis Brinson (OF)
Trevor Story (SS)
Charlie Blackmon (OF)
Texas Rangers @ Oakland Athletics 9:40 PM ET
The A’s at home behind Chris Bassitt vs one of the league's worst teams? No brainer, take the A’s to cruise.
Pick: A’s -1.5
Daily Fantasy picks:
Adolis Garcia (OF)
Matt Olson (1B)
Matt Chapman (3B)
Jed Lowrie (2B/SS)
Arizona D-Backs @ San Diego Padres 10:10 PM ET
I’m sure the D-Backs are feeling awful today after blowing a 4 run 9th inning lead to lose yesterday. It doesn’t get any easier taking on the Padres in San Diego.
Pick: Padres -1.5
Daily Fantasy picks:
Ketel Marte (2B/OF)
Manny Machado (3B)
Adam Frazier (2B)
Tommy Pham (OF)
Los Angeles Angels @ Los Angeles Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
The freeway series begins at Dodger stadium with a sub-par pitching matchup. That said, Patrick Sandoval has been very consistent over the last couple of months. The Dodgers hit well vs lefties and coming off a days rest so I think they can take this first game, but I do like the under.
Pick: Dodgers Win, under
Daily Fantasy picks:
David Fletcher (2B/OF)
Jack Mayfield (SS)
Mookie Betts (OF)
AJ Pollock (OF)
Will Smith (C)
Daily Fantasy Lineup:
P: Chris Bassitt $9,800
C/1B: Joey Votto $4,200
2B: DJ LeMahieu $3,200
3B: Austin Riley $3,500
SS: Jack Mayfield $2,700
OF: AJ Pollock $2,600
OF: Adam Frazier $2,700
OF: Tommy Pham $3,000
UTIL: Michael Brantley $3,300
