Ahead of the launch of Louisiana sports betting on January 28, there were a lot of rumors circulating that Betfred would be among the six sportsbooks to launch on that day.

Unfortunately, however, Betfred was not one of the six sportsbooks to go live on launch day, and nor has it yet gone live.

However, we do expect it to go live sometime in the near future, so let’s take a look at what we know so far.

When will Betfred go live in Louisiana?

Betfred is currently available to bettors in Louisiana, but only for in-person betting. You can find the Betfred retail location at the Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville. If you’re looking to use Betfred online in Louisiana, you’re going to have to wait a little longer though.

How long? At this stage, we don’t have an exact date - but we’re definitely expecting it to be sooner rather than later.

Louisianans can alert register a Betfred Sportsbook account and claim a pre-launch bonus of $150. We can therefore only assume that the launch of Betfred LA is imminent.
