TwinSpires Sign Up Offers & Promo Code US

TwinSpires is a premium horse racing site where you can wager on races around the world. This allows you to take advantage of the various TwinSpires sign up offers that they have. Some are just given to you automatically. For some you have to use the TwinSpires promo code. Either way, they credit your money and you can then place bets with it. This is pretty much the same way that Watch and Wager offers, Keeneland offers, Interbets offers, and DRFbets offers work.

We are going to show you what the TwinSpires sign up offers are like. Then you can decide for yourself if you want to take advantage of them. You should understand that the TwinSpires promo code does not work like the promo codes for casinos. Horse racing sites have their own way of doing things. Still they are decent, and you'll find yourself happy you decided to grab the TwinSpires sign up offers.

Claim your TwinSpires Deposit Offer Now

The first of the two TwinSpires sign up offers requires you to enter a TwinSpires promo code. Sign up for a TwinSpires account and you'll be asked to enter a TwinSpires promo code. Simply type in FREE10 and the TwinSpires sign up offer will kick in – you'll be credited with a $10 free bet.

Free bets that are a part of the TwinSpires sign up offer are not cash. Instead they are credited as a betting voucher. Use your $10 voucher as a single bet. If you win you get to collect all your winnings minus the $10 free bet. If you lose your bet, you lose nothing. It's a win/win for you as a player and you should not miss out on using your TwinSpires promo code.

The second of the two TwinSpires sign up offers simply requires you to place bets often. You do not have to enter a TwinSpires promo code to claim it. Simply sign up for a TwinSpires account. Then you have 30 days to bet the minimum amount to claim the TwinSpires sign up offer.

Here's the deal. Place $500 in bets during those first 30 days. If you do so you will then be credited with an extra $100 to bet with. You'll have 30 days to use the free $100 credit. What we liked to do with the credit is place bets on races with higher odds than we'd normally feel comfortable with. That way if we win, we end up with more money. If we lose, we don't care that much because it was the house's money anyway. Either way we have fun and in some cases we win big.

This is why TwinSpires can be a great place for you to bet on horses. You get to take advantage of both TwinSpires sign up offers right away – one with the TwinSpires promo code and one based simply on how much you end up betting. If you have the budget, it's certainly worth it to try out both TwinSpires sign up offers. That way, you get as much house money as possible to play with.

TwinSpires Refer A Friend Bonus

There is another kind of TwinSpires sign up offer that you should look out for. Once you have completed your registration information you will be given a special link with your own unique number inside it.

Use this link when you are talking to people about your experiences at TwinSpires. For example, if you get a big win and want to brag about it on Facebook insert the link into your copy. You can also do this on Twitter or really any social media account. If you are a blogger and like to blog about your horse racing experience, then you can insert the code into your blog.

Then if someone clicks on your link and signs up for TwinSpires it will be tracked to you. Once they make their first bet you will be given a special $10 free betting voucher. Like the offer with the TwinSpires promo code this isn't cash. It's simply good for one $10 free bet. Again, we advise you to place this bet on some long shots you wouldn't be comfortable betting your own money on.

You can claim as many of these bonuses as you can get friends to sign up for your offers. Get 100 people to sign up and you could end up with $1,000 in free money to bet with at TwinSpires.

Obviously, this is a program designed by TwinSpires to get you to do their advertising for them. But if you are going to be talking about your TwinSpires experience anyway, you might as well get some money for it. So, keep track of the link with the code and get ready to use it anytime you are talking about your experience at TwinSpires. A little bit of extra money to bet with is never a bad thing.

How Does The TwinSpires Sign Up Offers And TwinSpires Promo Code Stack Up Against The Competition?

TwinSpires hits the middle of the road with their TwinSpires sign up offers. The same goes for the TwinSpires promo code. They are not bad offers. In fact, getting $100 is pretty good. But you do have to bet $500 before you can claim that money.

As to the TwinSpires promo code, $10 in free bets isn't bad. But there are companies out there that offer far more free money. Of course, there are also those companies that offer far less or nothing at all with their bonus codes.

We see the TwinSpires sign up offers as making an effort to reward their players. They are obviously going after people with a fair amount of money to bet with. We would have liked it if they made more of an effort to reward people with smaller budgets. That said every site has the right to target the customers they want and TwinSpires wants those willing to place decent bets.

While we can't say we love the TwinSpires sign up offers they aren't bad, they just don't do anything for us to make them pop out. The same is true for the TwinSpires promo code. They give you something but if free money is what you are after you can find other sites that will give you a bit more.

TwinSpires VIP Offer

TwinSpires has a very complicated VIP program. Like all VIP programs it is designed to reward players who bet the most money through the online bookie. The VIP program pays off in free admission to racetracks, access to VIP gold rooms, access to special VIP events, and in some cases free bets. It has several stages – bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. As you go up a stage you start earning points in the VIP program more quickly. This means that the more you bet the faster you'll move up the VIP ladder.

When you start out betting at TwinSpires you will get four points for every bet made on a race at a CDI track. You will also earn one point for every dollar wagered at another track. Your VIP points are good for one year – after that they will expire. As you earn more points, you'll move up the ladder. The points will be credited to you in the first week of every month. Then you can see what you have and decide if you want to trade them in for anything.

This means that TwinSpires pretty much has the same or similar VIP program as most other online horse racing sites. That's not a problem. There is just nothing that makes it stand out from the crowd.

Still, it's nice they have one in place. There are bookmakers that do not have any VIP program at all, so it's good to see one here in addition to the TwinSpires sign up offers. Some companies have slightly better programs and some slightly worse. TwinSpires is right in the middle in terms of their VIP offer.

TwinSpires Customer Service

TwinSpires has a number you can call if you have a problem or simply want to check your balance. You can also email TwinSpires if you have a question or concern. Like much of the site's offerings we found their customer service to just be OK. It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. It was just right down the middle.

If you email TwinSpires you can expect an hour or so wait before they get back to you. We found that if our concern was simple and expressed clearly the response was accurate and friendly. For more complicated questions we often had to go back and forth explaining the issue. Some other companies would have understood our complex question as soon as we asked it. TwinSpires required some prompting. That said there are many horse racing bookies that never respond to customer service questions or else give you the wrong answer. TwinSpires at least eventually give you the right answer.

We found that the phone customer service ended up being about the same, although you do get a quicker response from them. That said you often had to go into great detail as to what your issue is.

Looking at job forums we found that the people working at TwinSpires either loved the experience or hated it. There is a sense that there is a clique at TwinSpires. If you are in the clique, then things go great. If you are not in the clique, then you are shut out.

This would explain why the employees either rate TwinSpires as one of the best places to work customer service or one of the worst. You'll either fit right in and have a great time or else be excluded.

All of this seems pretty much what you can expect from the average call center. In fact, the entire customer service experience at TwinSpires seems to be just about average. This would go along with the TwinSpires bonus code and TwinSpires deposit offer. Not great, not horrible. Just enough to get the job done.

TwinSpires Customer Ratings

TwinSpires recently upgraded their site. This has led to a huge rift in the reviews they have gotten from online consumers. To be blunt the vast majority don't like the changes. They all essentially universally report that TwinSpires was a much better site before the upgrade.

There are complaints that the streaming quality of the races themselves is not as good as it used to be. There are problems with finding the right places to place your bets. Many people now have problems placing exacta and trifecta bets. People tend to not understand how the interface is supposed to work.

There are also complaints about having problems withdrawing funds once the player has won. TwinSpires says that people simply aren't making their requests the right way. That may be but it speaks to there being a problem with the way the new version of the site works.

Before the upgrade nearly all of the reviews for TwinSpires were positive. People genuinely liked placing their horse racing bets there. Now people seem confused and have left negative reviews.

This may simply be an example of customers not adapting well to changes made to a platform. We did not see any reviews either negative or positive from people who recently signed up for the site. We can't independently evaluate how well the new site works.

What we can say is that long time users have reacted very negatively to the changes that TwinSpires has made. In every way possible they have complained. From the size of the fonts to understanding how to make a bet and to the visuals it's all negative.

What would be nice would be if TwinSpires had some way for you to choose the interface – either “classic” or “new.” But that does not seem to be the case. We will take another look at TwinSpires in a few months once people have had time to figure out the format and then let you know if people liked it better once they got used to it or if it is simply a bad format and TwinSpires should have kept with their old site design.

TwinSpires Payment Methods

When you gamble at TwinSpires you are probably going to have to pay a fee. Most people use their credit cards to gamble online. That's because they are a quick way to transfer money. TwinSpires will charge you a $5 fee per transaction to charge your Visa or MasterCard. We have to give this a bad rating. They should be making more than enough money off of your bets to not have to charge you any fees at all. In addition, for most cards they will process them as cash advances. This triggers additional fees on the side of your bank. Again, this is not a good idea. But it will end up crediting your money instantly.

You can also use PayPal. But again, they will charge you a $5 fee for making your deposits and additional fees for making withdrawals. We really don't understand this. Once they have your money you shouldn't have to pay any fees at all. Lord knows that there are horse racing bookie sites that manage to avoid charging you fees to deposit and withdraw. TwinSpires is not one of those companies.

You can also send them a check or money order. They will hold all checks or money orders for five days before they credit the money to your account. For checks they will charge you $10 as a deposit fee. This to us seems excessive.

The one way you can make a deposit and not end up having to pay a fee is to use EZMoney. This is an ACH service. You give them your bank details and then when you want to make a deposit you authorize it. If you make your deposit this way, they will not charge you any fees at all. The said it can take three to five days for your money to be credited to your account. So, while you aren't paying any fees you are stuck waiting around to be able to bet. Or else you can use your credit card and bet right away but be charged a fee.

Neither seems like great options to us and you can clearly find a better deal in terms of deposits and withdrawals by finding another bookie to take your horse racing bets.

TwinSpires App

TwinSpires has apps for both iOS and Android enabled phones. They both work just like the desktop and laptop versions of the site itself. The only difference is that due to the smaller screen the video looks better on your phone than it does on the site itself.

Other than that, it is exactly the same experience. You can place bets. You can deposit money. You can withdraw money. You can claim the TwinSpires sign up offers. You can use the TwinSpires promo code.

This is to be expected in 2020. These days most people are accessing the Internet through their phones or other portable devices. Long gone are the days when desktops and laptops were the only way to get online

Any legitimate online gambling site these days will have an app to allow you to place bets. Otherwise they would be missing out on a fair number of bets to their competition that does have apps.

It's great that the TwinSpires app matches their site and does not itself promote a learning curve. If you can figure out the desktop version of their site, you will have no problem at all using their app.

TwinSpires And Problem Gambling

Before you set up your first account at TwinSpires you should be aware of issues related to problem gambling. Problem gambling is when you let gambling take control of your life. It can lead to gambling addiction. The way to avoid a gambling addiction is to be aware of what the signs are of problem gambling, know when to take a break, and when to seek help. That way you'll be able to gamble for the rest of your life without it becoming a problem.

Here are some pointers to keep in mind when you are placing bets to ensure that you don't develop a gambling problem.

Set a budget. It can be a daily, weekly, or monthly budget. Figure out exactly how much money you can afford to lose. Make your budget. And then stick to it. Once you've lost that much money step back until that time period is over. Then go back. This will teach your discipline and also make it much less likely you will develop a gambling problem in the future.

  • Don't drink and bet. If you are drinking while you are placing bets you will make bad decisions. You will end up making bets that have little chance of winning. You will also be tempted to go over your budget and end up betting more than you can afford to lose. So always place your bets while you are stone-cold sober. Then once you've done that you can open up a beer and watch the races.
  • Don't bet when you are angry. If you have a few losses in a row it can be easy to get angry. That can lead you to place more bets in order to try to recoup your losses. Don't do that. Losing streaks happen to everyone. Instead take a break from betting on the horses and don't come back until you are in a better mood.
  • Don't bet if it becomes routine. Betting on horse racing is supposed to be fun. If it becomes not fun, you need to take a break. People get into habits. And that can lead them to just keep betting because they think that's what they are supposed to do. That takes the fun out of it. If betting becomes a routine thing for you take a couple of days to break from it. When you come back to it you'll have a much better time.
  • Betting on horse races should not impact your relationships with friends and family members. You should not have to lie to friends or family about how much or how often you bet. If you find that betting is taking over and causing harm to your relationships with your family stop betting. If you find yourself lying about your gambling stop betting. In these cases, you probably also want to consider talking to someone about your gambling. Do not come back until you have addressed all of these issues.
