At just 17 years old, m0nesy is the youngest CSGO player that features in this list. Despite his age, m0nesy has shown that he has decision-making skills far beyond his years and a great ability to read the game.
After a fairly shaky season, m0nesy managed to finish as part of the BLAST World Final 2022 winning team. If any new sweeps casinos in 2023 want to follow a blueprint of how to break into a gaming scene, then the footsteps of m0nesy are by far the best to follow.

Nicolai Reedtz is an established name across the CSGO scene, having already secured 19 MVPs, 4 CSGO major championships, 8 top 20 player of the year awards, and an IEM championship.
This season, dev1ce returns to Astralis – a team that, despite being branded the #1 team of all time, have recently been unable to replicate the successes of tournaments gone by. The reintroduction of dev1ce may reignite that fire.

Nikola “NiKo” Kovač is the entry fragger at G2 esports. He was part of the roster that won the BLAST World Final 2022 and is regarded as having a chess-like approach to CSGO and one of the best aims across the scene.
Between 2016 and 2021, NiKo has been presented with six top 20 player of the year awards and has walked away from seven tournaments as overall MVP. 2023 looks like it has potential to be another standout year.

Mathieu Herbaut, known affectionately as ZywOo, is a part of Team Vitality and is just 22 years of age. He has, arguably, already cemented his position as one of the best players in the world and there is little doubt that he will continue to prove himself as one of the top 5 CSGO players in 2023.
ZywOo is best known for his accuracy and the ability to take out multiple players at once – no wonder he has secured MVP 13 times in his career already.

With so many top players starting to make their mark on the scene, this choice wasn’t quite as s1mple as you may first assume. However, there is no dispute that Oleksander Kostyliev deserves his spot atop the leaderboard.
He is renowned for having a pretty aggressive play style, but is also a true leader with a great knowledge base that extends far beyond his first appearance in 2013.
