The PointBet website is slick, modern and offers an innovative design and colour pallet. They’ve bucked trends by going for the black background, allowing the red and white colours from their logo to stand out nicely. When it comes to the layout, the site is different to most online betting sites in Australia, but in a good way. Information is neatly displayed and everything you could possibly want is a mere few clicks away - from betting markets and odds to the FAQs & customer service team (who, by the way are super helpful).

You can always find the bet slip on the top right hand corner of your screen alongside your account information. Promotions and special events are advertised in a slidebar, but are in keeping with the theme and are innovative and not at all gaudy. In a world where almost all other Aussie gambling sites look like a carbon copy of Ladbrokes, PointsBet is a breath of fresh air. Would we say that this is among the sports betting in Australia? Absolutely!

PointsBet Ratings: The mobile app

Just like the website on which it was modeled, the PointsBet app runs smoothly and is extremely user friendly. Often, apps that have been built as a secondary product to the website are a bit slower and can be subjected to lagging, but that’s not the case here, we’re pleased to say. Deposits

PointsBet has a small selection of just 4 different payment methods that you can use to deposit into your account; credit/debit card, Poli, bank transfer and cash in. Withdrawals

Our PointsBet reviews also looked into the withdrawal options. There is a turnover requirement that needs to be met in order for you to withdraw your funds with PointsBet Australia. In order to make your funds withdrawable, you’ll need to bet through them dollar for dollar. You’re able to keep track of this very easily in your account - just go to your banking info and you’ll see your “Total Balance”, at the top, with your “Withdrawable Amount” below. For example, let’s say you have a total balance of $1000 and a withdrawable balance of $900. In this case you could either just withdraw the $900 or bet through a further $100 in order to make that the full $1000 withdrawable.

You can request a withdrawal by clicking the button in your account and entering the details of the bank account to which you wish to withdraw. If you request your withdrawal before 3pm AEST Monday-Friday, then it should reach your account by the evening on the same day. However, it should be noted that it can take upto 48 hours.

In addition, there’s also the PointsBet support center, which is extremely detailed and well put together. As well as serving as an FAQs section with payment and betting information, along with the terms and conditions, it also has a lot more to offer, such as a troubleshooting section. Should you need to contact the team, the best way to get in touch is via the live chat or by calling them up directly.

You can use the live chat service to ask questions without registering an account, as long as you enter your name and email address. In our experience, the customer service agents we dealt with via the live chat and over the phone were extremely helpful. Unlike other Australian bookmakers, there isn’t a separate number dedicated for placing bets, instead there’s a single phone number for customer service and placing live bets over the phone.
